"Potatoes, are the way of life. But they can also mean death, as proven by The Great Potato Famine of 1846"

This page is dedicated to insight. Here at Potatoes4Life!, the findings of Bob Corning are completely fueled by his wish for knowledge. He is not the wishy-washy person telling you "I do it for the people, and I want this information accessible to them". He is the person doing it for himself, then giving it to others. He thinks in the context that you have to help yourself first, in order to help others, otherwise you have nothing to offer.

While some of that may seem like, rude, twisted logic, the more you think about it, the more it makes sense. You can't tell people about potatoes, unless you know about potatoes.

Bob is an eccentric man, who is fixated on one thing, and that thing is Potatoes. That is a gift, and a curse though. Because he is focused on one thing, and not gaining much knowledge on other things (such as painting, or construction), he is cursed. But becaused he is focused on one thing, he is knowledgeable in his field. And nobody can deny, that he is very intelligent regarding potatoes, thus, he is gifted.

Bob Fitzgerald Corning lived in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada, from 4/20/1963, until February of 1983. He had a part time job (for privacy reasons, he does not disclose where he worked) and went to college for agriculture for the two years of 1983, and 1984, which as you can see, amount to two years.

In his spare time before, during, and after his much studying of planting many things (I don't personally know what people do in college. I do not like the politics of the public school system), he was reading up on potatoes, and experimenting with things pertaining to potatoes.

It came a great shock to his mother, Elizabeth, when she heard from Bob in Christmas of 1984 that after college, he was going to move to America. In 1985, he bought a small trailer house in Hell, Michigan. That was the point where in return for the news, Elizabeth Corning told him that the quote, "Potatoes, are the way of life. But they can also mean death, as proven by The Great Potato Famine of 1846", was merely a joke, which his 14 year old self believed. It wasn't something that she believed when she said it, but when Bob killed a rampant foot fungus in The Corning Family household, she soon was amazed, and took credit for inspiring Bob's passion.
