Here at Potatoes4Life!, we have been trying to talk with some bio-engineering companies. We want a potato, to grow on a tree, so we are wondering about fusing an apple tree, with a potato.

Bioengineering is a very expensive industry. It doesn't help that we cannot find a company that returns E-mails.

Here are some representations of what the Potato Tree would look like. To the un-trained eye, it looks like a real species, but in fact, it is a variety of plum tree with a potato propped on a branch.

These are the pictures that we sent to bio-engineering companies, via E-mail. Nobody ever replied.

For over 20 years, I have dedicated my research towards finding practical, and fundamental uses for potatoes. Everybody knows that you can bake potatoes, but did you know that you can use potatoes as paper weights, door stops, and book ends? (Although you need a potato with a very flat plain on one side to use it as a book end).

Thank you for reading, and thank you for your patience. Please leave feedback, regarding your experience, and we hope to see you again soon!

Some scientists think potatoes used to grow top ground, perhaps even on a tree. Because the potato has eyes, which stem vine-like roots, they conclude that these at one time may have been vines, trailing off producing large eligant leaves and, of course, potatoes. The same self proclaimed scientists also believe, the potatoes would have looked much different from what they do now. They say that potatoes probably had been much larger, had seeds in the middle like a pumpkin, and possibly even thorns. Here at Potatoes4Life!, we do not share the "scientific" outlook upon the potatoes past.

Q&A

SO... What Does Potatoes4Life! Do?

That is an excellent question. Here at Potatoes4Life!, we strive to make things happen. Our attempt to seize the unlikely, and destroy the invincible, is what gives us inspiration, and what better to put that focus on then potatoes?

Why Are Potatoes So Important?

The potato, is the root of life. As my mother, Elizabeth Corning, would say: "Potatoes are the way of life. But they can also mean death, as proven by the great potato famine of 1845" It is starch, it is vitamins, it is minerals, it is a practical object ie., mantle decor, paperweight, Christmas tree ornament, yule potato (that was a joke), and so much more!

Why don't you have a potato cookbook?

Getting fat is not a homeopathic solution, however we are pondering the thought!

Why are there no photos of you on your website?

Simply put, I like the anonymity of my life. I don't want to be at the grocery store, and have people asking so many questions about potatoes, that I can't get the shopping done.

(Q):"This is completely useless!! What is this for anyway?" - (Anonymous)

(A): If you think this is bogus, that is your choice. -Bob Corning

(Q): "This is stupid. Do you really think I believed this?" - (Anonymous)

(A): Yes, I expect you to believe the truth. If you don't accept facts, then you are basically Ettore Bugatti, who when received a complaint about the brakes on his customer's car, said that the car was made for driving, not stopping. -Bob Corning
